The Vetiș Hybrid Solar and Energy Storage Project, originally developed by SMART ELECTRIC DESIGN SRL consists of four photovoltaic parks with a combined installed solar capacity of approximately 101 MWp, supported by an energy storage system of approximately 99 MW and a transmission-grid connection sized for approximately 100 MW.
The project includes:
- Approximately 153,000 photovoltaic panels.
- Four photovoltaic parks.
- 23 inverter stations.
- Transformer substations and associated electrical equipment.
- Underground medium- and high-voltage electrical networks.
- Monitoring, control and security systems.
- An energy storage system with a capacity of approximately 99 MW.
- A new 220 kV high-voltage substation.
- Connection infrastructure for the hybrid solar and energy storage complex.
- Approximately 12.4 km of underground power transmission cable.
