GEK TERNA Group and Airbus partner to offer Defence and Space solutions for Greece
Athens, Greece, 28 April 2026 – GEK TERNA Group and Airbus have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on delivering advanced defence and space solutions to Greece, such as Military Satellite Communications and Critical Infrastructure Resilience. The agreement outlines a framework that combines GEK TERNA’s extensive experience in complex projects, including infrastructure, power, environment, digital, and Internet of Things, with Airbus’s cutting-edge technologies and global expertise, leveraging the complementary strengths of both organisations.
This partnership prioritizes the highest involvement of Greece’s wider industrial and digital sector, establishing the transfer of technology and competencies as a core pillar. The two organisations intend for this initiative to stimulate innovation, enhance local capabilities, and support the creation of a robust and competitive national defence, space, and infrastructure environment. This begins with the Military Satellite Program, where Airbus is offering a sophisticated European solution that guarantees security and national autonomy.
