REHABILITATION OF THE RAILWAY LINE BUCHAREST – CONSTANTA, Section Baneasa-Fundulea – Lot 2: Infrastructure and superstructure works for open, through and siding lines in the stations, embankments, culverts and consolidation works. The rehabilitation works from Baneasa Station to Fundulea Station is consisting of 2 X 35,554.50 m = 71.109 km of railway line and includes:

  • Embankments, i.e. improving the railway route geometry both in plan and in the longitudinal profile, track geometry in cross-section and increasing the bearing capacity at the earth formation level.
  • Embankments consolidation and slope protections
  • Culverts
  • Railway superstructure, i.e removal of existing lines, sleepers, fixtures etc and replacement with new ones.
  • Specific works for environment protection
