TERNA has signed an agreement with Bulgaria’s National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) ‘NRIC’ regarding the project “Construction of track, catenary, structures at section Petarch – Dragoman and design, construction and author supervision of the signalling and telecommunication systems of section Voluyak – Dragoman”.
The project comprises 20.9 km of railway infrastructure (earthworks, bridges, overpasses, track laying and construction of four railway stations) and complete electrification as well as the design and construction of a 33 km railway signalling and telecommunications system.
Construction works will be completed in 48 months and the total budget amounts to 154.7 million euro (plus VAT).
