The ‘Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Athens,’ the only Integrated Resort of its kind in Europe, which reflects an investment by GEK TERNA and Hard Rock International significantly exceeding €1 billion, is expected to create 3,000 jobs during its construction and another 3,000 permanent jobs during its operation. It will also contribute tens of millions of euros annually to the Greek state for the next three decades and has officially entered the construction phase.

The ‘Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Athens’ will significantly upgrade Greece’s tourism product, combining a luxurious 5-star hotel with suites and rooms offering sea views or views over Athens and the Parthenon, a world-class casino, a high-standard exhibition and conference center, a state-of-the-art entertainment venue capable of hosting concerts by international artists, high-quality dining services, a luxurious Rock Spa® and pool complex, and retail shops.

The 30-year concession is a partnership between Hard Rock International (51%) and GEK TERNA Group (49%), with the latter also bearing full responsibility for the project’s construction, which is expected to take approximately 3 years.
