Ms. Lazaridou is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOE Department of Business Administration) and holds an M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Strathclyde (UK). She has more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector, holding for over 10 years the position of General Manager in the fields of Corporate and Investment Banking. At the same time – and in the context of the above responsibilities – she has successfully served (i) Chairman of the Board of subsidiaries and (ii) an executive member in senior committees of Banks. Through the above roles she has made a dynamic contribution to the rapid development of the country’s infrastructure and renewable energy sources. In 2017 she joined the GEK TERNA Group, assuming the position of General Manager of Financial Services with the main object (i) the determination of the financial strategy and (ii) the management of business risks. In December 2019, she was appointed Executive Member of the Board of Directors of GEK TERNA and from July 2021 she is an Executive Member and Executive Director of GEK TERNA. She participates in the Boards of Directors of subsidiary companies of the GEK TERNA Group. Ms. Lazaridou is a member of the Executive Committee of the ICC (Hellas International Chamber of Commerce) women and member of the WOMEN OF BOARDS (WOB) Harvard Business School.
