He holds a MEK D’ class degree and has graduated from the Athens School of Engineering. He worked as a freelancer – contractor of public works from 1969 to 1976. Since 1977, he has joined the construction company TERNA, participating since then in numerous large infrastructure projects as head of the construction sector, while since 2002 he has been a Senior Executive and Executive Member of the Boards of Directors of the companies TERNA S.A. and GEK TERNA S.A. From 2011 to 2023, he served as Executive Vice President of the GEK TERNA Group and from 2019 to 2023 he held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at TERNA S.A. He also held the position of non-executive member of the Board of Directors at TERNA ENERGY S.A. and he is the Vice President at TERNA LEFKOLITHI S.A., a company active in the mining sector. He has participated in numerous Corporate Social Responsibility actions across Greece, covering needs for the benefit of local communities in the geographical areas where major infrastructure projects are being carried out.
