Contracts Engineer
TERNA S.A., member of GEK TERNA Group seeks to hire a:
 
Contracts Engineer for Integrated Resort Complex Elliniko
 
 
Main responsibilities:
 
  • Administers prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements etc.
  • Participates actively in negotiations of contractual conditions with third parties and recommends contract modifications, if needed.
  • Identifies risks, provides detailed risk analysis at different levels of Project Cycle and develops risk mitigation plans.
  • Provides regular reporting on a weekly/monthly basis to Project Manager.
  • Identifies and proposes alternative solutions or approaches to emerging discrepancies.
  • Drafts, prepares and reviews all the Project’s contractual correspondence and manages variations and claims. 
  • Performs regular contracts’ review and audit to verify adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Supports Project Team on contract-related issues (disputes’ resolutions etc).
 
 
Qualifications:
 
  • BSc Degree in Civil /Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 5 years of experience in Site Construction Management of Complex Construction Projects
  • Practical experience in contract administration for construction projects, including negotiations and settlements of complex claims
  • Excellent technical writing and strong verbal communication both in English and Greek
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
