GEKTERNA Group is committed to reducing the impact of its operation on the environment and to protect the safety and health of employees, through the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System, according to standards ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, in the phases of design, planning, construction, maintenance and operation of projects and facilities.

GEKTERNA Group is committed to:

• Comply with applicable legal and other requirements to ensure the protection of the Environment and the Health & Safety of its employees.
• Protect the environment, identify and evaluate the environmental aspects of its activities.
• Identify the risks and minimize their consequences to all employees, by taking appropriate preventive measures.
• Prevent injuries, diseases and adverse health and safety incidents that could result from its operation and activities.
• Provide appropriate training and ensure the participation of employees in matters relating to Occupational Health and Safety.

• Save natural resources through the reuse and recycling of materials, the supply of recycled materials and the use of recyclable packaging and other materials.

• Disclose its commitment to the protection of the Environment and Health & Safety of its employees, its suppliers, its customers and the society in which it operates.
• Protect ancient monuments, cultural heritage and the flora-fauna of the ecosystem, adopting environmentally friendly methods and technologies.
• Cooperate with environmental agencies and services for the protection of the environment.
• Continuously improve the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
