Professional Master's Program from NTUA and GEK TERNA: Applications for participation in the new academic year are open until May 31st

The application process for participation in the Professional Master's Degree Program in “Infrastructure and Construction Project Management” has begun, for the academic year 2024-2025, which is supported and entirely financed by GEK TERNA Group. Candidates can submit their online applications to the Secretariat of the Interdepartmental Graduate Program http://deyk.ntua.gr/announc_deyk/applications_2024.html until 5/31/2024.

The Professional Interdepartmental Graduate Program “Infrastructure and Construction Project Management”, which is carried out by the School of Civil Engineering NTUA, with the partnership of the School of Mechanical Engineering NTUA and the School of Electrical is financed entirely by GEK TERNA Group for an initial 5-year period with the total amount of half a million euros.

It has a minimum duration of three semesters, leads to a Master's Degree and aims at the specialization of young engineers in the administration and management of infrastructure and construction projects, with the use of new technologies, the deepening of modern scientific concepts and the learning of techniques concerning at all stages of the project life cycle. In addition, it aims to cover all aspects of the infrastructure and construction industry and to highlight not only the technical, but also the economic, environmental, legal and social dimension of infrastructure and construction projects, from initial planning to their implementation and operation.

The number of admissions for the new academic year is set at thirty, while the three positions out of the thirty are occupied by candidates who meet social/economic criteria.


The selection among the candidates will be made in three stages. In the first stage, the selection is based on the data of the participation application, those who will not meet the above admission criteria and prerequisites will be excluded. In the second stage, those who successfully passed the first stage will be evaluated based on only three criteria (general diploma grade, years of study, postgraduate studies) and the best candidates will be selected. In the third and final stage, the above-mentioned top candidates will be invited to an interview and their overall profile will be evaluated. In conjunction with the criteria of the second stage, other criteria will accordingly be taken into account such as: university honors, research and professional experience, scientific publications, other related activities and abilities of the candidates (such as leadership, organizational, communication), letters of recommendation, goals, motivations and their development prospects.
