GEK TERNA Group has placed sustainable development at the core of its business strategy, demonstrating a deep and ongoing commitment to environmental protection. Recognizing the urgent need for environmental responsibility, the Group has adopted a range of practices aimed at preserving ecological balance and minimizing its environmental footprint.
Starting in the fall of 2023 and with the exclusive support of the GEK TERNA Group, the program has already produced its first graduates.
In partnership with the non-profit organization BlackLight, which was founded by individuals with visual impairments, we joined forces to implement the “Learning Without Seeing” program across 20 schools in Heraklion region of Crete. This initiative made a lasting impact on the local community, surpassing expectations in terms of school participation and acceptance by educators and parents alike.
The Group's contribution to employment amounts to 37,500 jobs. The Corporate Social Responsibility program for 2023 stands at €11.6 million.
